The technician performs environmental maintenance, verifies equipment functionality, and adheres to established departmental policies, procedures, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Key duties include recognizing and anticipating the needs of the surgical team and identifying abnormal functioning of sterilization equipment.
