About The Position
Join Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM, as a full-time, evening-shift Sterile Processing Technician. The role is responsible for decontaminating, correctly assembling, and sterile processing of instruments used in the operating room and ambulatory and specialty clinics. The technician follows policies, procedures, and regulations to support compliance and patient safety. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards for universal precautions, sterilization methodologies, and biological monitoring.
- National Certification in Sterile Processing or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- One year of previous job-related experience in Central Supply and/or Sterile Processing in a hospital or clinic setting.
