About The Position

This role is responsible for guaranteeing surgical safety by meticulously decontaminating and sterilizing instruments, ensuring every tool meets the highest standards for infection prevention. The technician will validate clinical readiness by inspecting, assembling, and testing instrument sets to ensure surgeons have the exact, high-functioning tools they need for every procedure. Additionally, the role drives operational precision by using tracking systems to maintain 100% accuracy in instrument counts, preventing delays and ensuring the operating room runs smoothly. The technician will also support the surgical pipeline by proactively managing inventory and equipment levels, ensuring the right resources are always available for life-saving cases.

Requirements

Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association preferred.
Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) preferred.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Experience in Healthcare
Experience in Sterile Processing or Surgical Services
