DISC Surgery Center is seeking a full-time Sterile Processing Tech for our Carlsbad location. This position will have a Monday - Friday schedule and specialize in Orthopedic, spinal and pain management procedures.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Certification in Sterile Processing
- Understanding of sterilization and high-level disinfection technologies, including industry-standardized principles and practices in sterilization and disinfection
- Current BCLS Certification
- The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl and lift
Responsibilities
- Maintain instruments and equipment
- Prepare instrumentation, equipment, and sterile supplies for scheduled surgical procedures.
- Provide patient care to meet identified patient outcomes and achieve the center's goals as directed by the Administrator/Director of Nurses
