About The Position

Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Night shifts. Under general supervision processes surgical instrumentation and supplies throughout the sterilization process using the appropriate personal protective equipment according to procedure. Maintains instruments in a clean, working condition, and stores according to instrument directory. Performs and interprets data from daily sterilizer biological monitoring, instrument sterilization and all associated documentation. Assist in training and orientation of new staff. Requirements

  • Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician – Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician – Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
  • Sterile processing experience.

  • High-Level Disinfection: Training in decontamination, processing, sterilization, quality control
  • Flexible scope reprocessing.
