We are currently searching for a Full-Time Certified Sterile Processing Technician to work Mondays – Fridays 7:30am-4:00pm, who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Requirements
- Sterile Processing Certified
- HS school diploma/GED
- Completed a SPD certification
- Strong moral and ethical character references
- Strong communication skills
- Customer services skills
- Basic computer skills
- Energetic, positive and strong team player
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi – task
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Delivering sterile supplies and retrieving contaminated supplies
- Cleaning the instruments and equipment
- Test and report any issues or problem with sterilizing equipment or instruments
- Keep record of items that have been cleaned and sterilized
