Sterile Processing Technician II - Surg/OR
About The Position
This role is for a Sterile Processing Technician II in the Surgical/Operating Room department. The position is 100% FTE, 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled Monday - Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Hours may vary based on clinic needs. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment requiring detailed, technical skills, contributing to patient safety and remarkable patient care. The role involves interacting with innovative surgical instrumentation and reprocessing equipment, and being a member of a cohesive team that assists and supports each other. There are opportunities for career advancement within the Reprocessing Department's career ladder. All required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided, meeting OSHA and AMMI standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year experience in reprocessing required
- Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician is required.
