Sterile Processing Technician CSOT2
About The Position
This position is responsible for the processing, sterilization, and documentation related to sterility of patient care supplies, instruments, and equipment used throughout the hospital in accordance with the AORN Standards of Practice. Prepare and assemble instrument sets and surgery trays using count sheets and verifies proper function and integrity of instruments. Labels instruments correctly and returns them to their proper location. Efficient in the quality execution of instrumentation that is directly related to patient safety and department efficiencies. Familiar with AAMI Joint Commission and APIC standards related to infection control. The Sterile Processing Technician CSOT2 will float between metro entities to meet staffing needs of SLH, SLE, SLN and SLS.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
