About The Position

Northern Monmouth Regional Surgery Center is hiring a full-time Sterile Processing Tech. The position maintains and cares for surgical instruments and prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases. The center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of sterile processing experience.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.

• Maintain and care for all surgical instruments.
• Prepare supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
