About The Position

The Surgical Services Department at Baptist Health Lexington encompasses several key areas: the Pre-Op Department, 20 operating rooms with a business office staff responsible for scheduling, a Postoperative Care Unit, an Endoscopy Department with dedicated pre- and post-op areas, and a Sterile Processing Department. This role involves processing patient supplies and surgical instruments, including the decontamination of instruments, equipment, and patient reusable supplies. The technician will also assist with maintaining departmental inventory and ensure positive customer relations interactions. This position requires being on call for weekends, weeknights, and holidays by rotation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certification preferred.

Responsibilities
