About The Position
Responsible for sterilizing appropriate instruments within the hospital and clinic. The position works under the supervision of the Acute Care Manager, with input from the OR Charge Nurse.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and walk during the shift.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 60 pounds throughout the shift.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Sterile Processing Certification Program.
- Two years of experience in an Operating Room instrumentation area or a related field.
- Sterile Processing experience.
