About The Position
The Sterile Processing Tech decontaminates, cleans, and sterilizes equipment, instruments, and supplies. The role assembles and maintains inventories of surgical and floor trays, completes established competencies within the designated introductory period, and performs other related duties as assigned. The position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in sterile processing or as a surgical technician.
- Credentialed as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician; certification must be obtained within one year from the date of hire or transfer into the position.
Responsibilities
- Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Assemble and maintain inventories of surgical and floor trays.
- Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
