About The Position

Millennium Surgical Center is seeking a per diem Sterile Processing Tech. The role maintains and cares for surgical instruments and prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases. Millennium Surgical Center provides a high-quality, service-oriented environment for surgical procedures and is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of sterile processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is required.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for surgical instruments.
• Prepare supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
