Sterile Processing Tech
About The Position
Sterile Processing Tech needed in busy Surgery department. The Sterile Processing Tech is one who performs delegated tasks/care that requires knowledge of sterile processing duties and that is consistent with the philosophy and mission statement of Great Plains Regional Medical Center. Provides Patient care by assurance of sterility of instruments, packs and procedure trays needed for operative, obstetric, or other special procedures within the hospital. Perform other tasks as assigned to promote smooth operation of operating room and sterile supply area. Assists leadership to review and develop policies pertinent to sterile processing and decontamination.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
Nice To Haves
- Sterile Processing Certificate highly desirable
- Previous Experience as supply aide preferred
- Previous work history that indicates steady attendance and punctuality is desired
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) is desired
