About The Position

Decontaminates, cleans, and sterilizes equipment, instruments, and supplies. Assembles and maintains inventories of surgical and floor trays. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in sterile processing or as a surgical technician.
• Must be credentialed as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician.
• Must become certified within one year from the date of hire or transfer into the position.
