About The Position

Join Emplify Health by Gundersen as a Sterile Processing Technician, where you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role ensuring surgical teams have the sterile, safe instruments they need—every time. Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an approved surgical tech or sterile processing tech program

Responsibilities

  • Perform decontamination, disinfection, inspection, and sterilization of surgical instruments
  • Assemble and prepare instrument trays for procedures
  • Manage the distribution of supplies and equipment to Surgery and Procedure areas
  • Follow strict infection prevention and control (IPC) standards
