Sterile Processing Tech
About The Position
The Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for decontaminating, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and cleaning patient care equipment. The role ensures accurate documentation of sterilization processes and reports abnormalities to leadership. It also participates in receiving and reprocessing loaner and consignment sets. Under the department Educator’s direction, the Tech may serve as a preceptor to new staff or Operating Room staff cross-training in Sterile Processing. This is a full-time evening-shift position at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a 656-bed hospital.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Obtain CRCST, CSPDT, or CST certification within one year of hire.

- CRCST, CSPDT, or CST certificate.
Responsibilities
- Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments.
