We're seeking a skilled Central Service Technician to play a critical role in preparing life-saving instrumentation for patient use on a routine and emergency basis. Your precision ensures patient safety and supports our surgical teams every day! What You'll Do:
Requirements
- Education: High school education or equivalent
- Licensure: Central Service Technician Certificate or may obtain this certification within 2 years of employment.
- Experience: Prefer experience in Medical field
Responsibilities
- Process Surgical Instruments: Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instrumentation and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and hospital policy.
- Maintain Sterility Standards: Accurately monitor biological and chemical testing, meticulously documenting results and following up on any deviations.
- Prepare for Procedures: Efficiently pick, assemble, and deliver case carts with the necessary instruments for surgical cases, prioritizing urgent needs to prevent delays.
- Manage Inventory & Supplies: Process unused supplies, ensuring accurate charges and documentation.
- Support & Communicate: Handle incoming calls from the Operating Room and direct inquiries, providing excellent service to internal teams.
