About The Position
Seeking a Sterile Processing Tech Team Lead for the Sterile Processing Department at Baptist Health Floyd, located in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. This full-time position involves overseeing daily workflow activities related to instrument sterilization and distribution. The role requires close collaboration with the department manager to ensure adequate staffing for case volume and to guide staff in compliance with sterile processing protocols, regulatory standards, and infection control practices. The Team Lead will provide guidance, training, and support to sterile processing technicians, coordinate work assignments, and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
- One-year sterile processing experience
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily workflow activities related to instrument sterilization and distribution.
- Work closely with department manager to ensure adequate staffing to case volume.
