About The Position

Join the Sterile Processing Team at BJC Healthcare's Sunset Hills Outpatient Facility. BJC is dedicated to your growth and development. Be a part of an environment where you can thrive! This is a full-time position with benefits. The hours of operation are 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Perks include no weekends or holidays and easy parking. The facility services include 5 OR Procedure Rooms, Ortho, Colorec, ENT, Podiatry, and GI Scope.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
• High School Diploma or GED
• <2 years of experience
• No Supervisor Experience

Nice To Haves

• 2-5 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Assembles and processes instruments sets, trays, supplies and linen; prioritizes trays and tasks according to the surgery schedule.
• Utilizes and troubleshoots steam sterilizers.
• Follows proper techniques and procedures to ensure the integrity of the sterilization process.
• Disassembles, decontaminates, and processes instrumentation according to manufacturer and industry standards.
• Transports patients with any necessary materials and documents to treat or diagnose.
