About The Position
As a Central Processing Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping our operating rooms and hospital floors running smoothly! This role involves mastering the art of cleaning and sterilizing medical instruments, processing, and distributing them with attention to detail. You will play a crucial role in infection prevention by maintaining the highest sterilization standards, organizing and storing instruments efficiently, and collaborating with various departments to ensure they are equipped. You will also be responsible for quality control, identifying and addressing any issues before they become problems, and adapting to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while helping to implement new initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who is patient, detail-oriented, enjoys hands-on work, and can take direction effectively. There are opportunities to advance your career to Tech II or III.
