About The Position

UW Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to work in a fast-paced environment requiring detailed technical skills. The role contributes to patient safety and patient care through the reprocessing of surgical instrumentation and the use of reprocessing equipment. The technician works as part of a cohesive team and may advance through the Reprocessing Department's career ladder. Required personal protective equipment is provided and meets OSHA and AMMI standards.

This position is 100% FTE, 40 hours per week, on the evening shift. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday between 3:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.; hours may vary based on department needs.

Requirements

• No minimum education is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or by IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician.

Responsibilities
