As the Sterile Processing Supervisor, you will oversee the daily activities of sterile processing associates, ensuring adherence to local policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Your leadership will directly support surgical teams by maintaining the integrity of sterile instruments and case carts, contributing to safe and efficient patient care. Requirements

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
One or more of the following required: Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.

Nice To Haves

3-5 years of Sterile Processing experience.
Sterile processing certification from CBSPD or HSPA prior to hire date or transfer.

Responsibilities

Oversee decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments using AAMI standards.
Prepare case carts following local inventory standards.
Evaluate and document quality assurance program findings, coaching the team to improve audit outcomes.
Focus on productivity standards and quality workflow metrics.
Conduct hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff.
