About The Position
The Sterile Processing Supervisor - Evenings is responsible for the sterile processing function of the Sterile Processing Department. This role maintains and provides an adequate supply of sterilized products for the OR, nursing units, and other departments. The supervisor also oversees and evaluates the performance of all support positions in the department.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED required
- Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) required.
- Obtain Certified Endoscope Reprocessing Certification within 6 months of accepting position.
- Three years’ experience in SPD with one year supervisory experience.
- Five years’ experience in SPD
