About The Position

The Service Line Coordinator is responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, quality assurance, and inventory management of instrumentation for assigned surgical specialties. This position serves as the subject matter expert for designated service lines, ensuring instrument readiness, standardization, and collaboration with surgeons, Operating Room staff, vendors, and Sterile Processing leadership. The Service Line Coordinator promotes patient safety by ensuring all specialty instrumentation is complete, functional, sterile, and available to support scheduled and emergency surgical procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
• Minimum of three years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Demonstrated competency with specialty surgical instrumentation.
• Experience with instrument tracking software.
• Knowledge of sterilization principles, microbiology, and infection prevention practices.
• Knowledge of instrument names, functions, and specialty sets.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and recordkeeping.
• Ability to perform job functions while standing.
