About The Position
The SPD Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Sterile Processing Department, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost effective services for all areas requiring sterile processing support.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of SPD experience
- 1 year of leadership experience
- Proven experience in Sterile Processing operations
- Strong leadership and problem solving skills
- Knowledgeable in regulatory aspects impacting SPD to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and standards.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate with staff, outside departments, and leadership teams while maintaining the hospital’s mission, vision, and values.
- CRCST or CBSPD with CHL must be obtained within 2 years of hire
