Sterile Pharmacy Technician - Afternoon
About The Position
Southend Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Pharmacy Technician. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that a pharmacy or healthcare facility complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards. Their duties are specialized and often administrative, with a focus on quality assurance and risk management. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly impact on the safety and well-being of our patients. Please note that this Afternoon shift schedule is Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM; however, hours may be adjusted based on business needs, and flexibility in availability is expected to support teams and operational demands.
Requirements
- RPHT-TX certification from the State Board of Pharmacy
- Recent experience in sterile pharmacy technician roles
- IV certification
Nice To Haves
- CPHT certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
- Completion of 40 hours of accredited training in compounding sterile products
Responsibilities
- Compound prescriptions with precision and care
- Ensure timely and accurate medication distribution
- Organize and manage medication orders and records
- Monitor and replenish medication supplies
