About The Position
The Sterile Core Tech - Operating Room - Nights position is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Arlington Heights, IL. The role involves assisting in inventory maintenance, patient transportation, and operating room case turnover, including equipment procurement and instrument processing. The tech will also support the daily setup of the operating room under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Work Experience in OR environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance of inventory
- Transporting of patients
- Participate in O.R. case turnover to include equipment procurement and instrument processing when necessary
- Assist in the daily setup of the operating room under supervision of Registered Nurse
