About The Position

Join our growing pharmacy team as a Sterile Compounding Technician, supporting both sterile and non-sterile compounding operations in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment. You will play a key role in preparing GLP-1 medications and other compounded formulations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and compliance. This is a hands-on role for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and confident working within strict SOPs and regulatory guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role in our Delray Beach Warehouse.

Requirements

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with sterile compounding experience or training
  • Strong knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards
  • Highly detail-oriented and comfortable working within strict SOPs and compliance frameworks
  • Strong mathematics and calculation skills, with the ability to accurately calculate concentrations and dosages
  • Experienced operating sterile compounding equipment and dosage measuring tools
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation with a high level of precision
  • Proactive, organized, and able to identify and resolve issues quickly
  • Works well within a team environment and communicates clearly with colleagues and pharmacists
  • Comfortable working in a sterile lab environment and following detailed procedures consistently
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Sterile compounding of GLP-1 medications and other sterile preparations using aseptic techniques
  • Operate compounding equipment, including repeater pumps, to ensure accurate and efficient production
  • Prepare non-sterile compounded medications, including topical and oral dosage forms
  • Compounding, bottling, and labeling batches accurately
  • Complete and maintain batch sheets and compounding documentation throughout the process
  • Take required photos during compounding procedures to support compliance records
  • Maintain sterile and non-sterile workspaces through proper cleaning and sanitization procedures
  • Complete daily logs and documentation in line with SOP and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct fingertip and media-fill testing to maintain sterile compounding proficiency
  • Receive deliveries, unload stock, and organize inventory appropriately
  • Support pharmacists with operational tasks and pharmacy improvement projects
  • Assist with inventory counts and removal of expired medications
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations, including cleaning equipment and disposing of medication safely
  • Identify workflow issues, troubleshoot compounding errors, and support process improvements
  • Maintain accurate paper and electronic records in accordance with pharmacy regulations and compliance standards
