About The Position
Pharmacy Technicians are a foundation of the pharmacy department and drive many of the workflow activities. The expectations are to support the mission, vision, and core values of ECU Health and the pharmacy department by providing not only foundational dispensing activities but also compounding hazardous and/or non-hazardous sterile products.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher or be enrolled in a program that leads towards a diploma or equivalent.
- Must register with NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide foundational dispensing activities.
- Compound hazardous and/or non-hazardous sterile products.
