About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a progressive care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills and experience caring for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and treatment.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown RN experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Strong telemetry and patient monitoring skills preferred
• ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate testing required during orientation with acceptable passing scores

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/Progressive Care setting
• Monitor and assess patients with complex medical conditions
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to patient changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting
