About The Position

The Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals Program (STEP) is a 12-month dynamic, intensive rotational program designed to educate, train, and develop skills in emerging professionals and help establish their careers. Participants will gain hands-on experience in every aspect of the business through on-the-job training, e-learning, subject matter expert training, and residency trips. This program includes exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, E-Commerce, and the Sonepar USA and its Operating Companies’ business philosophy. At the conclusion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to present to the Executive Leadership team on key strategic organizational initiatives. The program is seeking driven self-starters who value a company culture that emphasizes Performance, People, Customers, and Sustainability. It offers opportunities for career growth, special assignments, and business acumen development through mentor programs.

Requirements

A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or related degree required.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Possess an enthusiastic/self-starter attitude.
Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Flexible and adaptable team player.

Responsibilities

Gain hands-on experience in warehouse/logistics.
Participate in inside sales/counter roles.
Engage in projects and quotations.
Work in marketing, digital solutions, and e-commerce.
Experience outside sales and specialty tracks.
Participate in team-building activities with fellow emerging professionals.
Present to the Executive Leadership team on key strategic organizational initiatives upon program completion.
