About The Position

Prepare students for the technological world in which they live; provide diverse learning opportunities using project- and inquiry-based experiences with a technology focus; utilize interactive technology programs and a variety of computing devices and digital resources to provide active engagement for students; receive ongoing training (summer and school year) in 1:1 technologies and instructional strategies; revise curriculum to meet 1:1 requirements; participate in district and building-level professional development; collaborate with other 1:1 teachers.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license with middle school level (Grades 6-8) certification in science
• Demonstration of leadership
• Strong skills in interpersonal communication and collaboration
• History of using differentiated instruction
• Demonstrated ability to integrate technology in instruction

Responsibilities

• Assess and document student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and collaborative planning.
• Supervise students during school activities, field trips, and breaks.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
• Comply with school policies, state regulations, and ethical teaching standards.
