About The Position
STEM Elementary School Teacher at Elwood Haynes Elementary School. This role involves providing diverse learning opportunities through real-world projects and experiences with a STEM focus. The teacher will receive ongoing training for STEM and 1:1 technology integration, revise curriculum to meet STEM requirements, participate in district and building level professional development, and collaborate with other STEM teachers.
Requirements
- Indiana Teaching License-Elementary Certification
- Demonstration of leadership
- Strong skills in interpersonal communication and collaboration
- History of using differentiated strategies in instruction
- Demonstrated ability to integrate technology in instruction
Responsibilities
- Assess and document student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and collaborative planning.
- Supervise students during school activities, field trips, and breaks.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
- Comply with school policies, state regulations, and ethical teaching standards.
