About The Position
This role serves to fill absences, temporary vacancies, and provide relief for the Melt Shop operations lines of progression, which include Melting, Casting, Refractory, and Cranes. The position involves assisting various crews, performing general clean-up of the Melt Shop, and becoming proficient in entry-level tasks within each line of progression to fill vacancies as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of working in an industrial environment
- Experienced working in extreme weather conditions
- Willing to climb, bend, stand, or lift items
Responsibilities
- Assist crews as required
- General clean up of Melt Shop as required
- Become proficient in entry level tasks of each line of progression in order to fill vacancies as required
