About The Position

Worthington Steel is hiring Steel Production Associates at our Monroe, OH facility. This is a hands-on role with paid training, along Medical, Dental, Vision insurance on Day 1. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required — we provide training and clear paths for growth. This is a physical, active job in a manufacturing environment. You will be on your feet for most of your shift, working around industrial equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
Requirements
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift consistently
- Comfortable performing physical, repetitive work and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and ability to show up on time for scheduled shifts
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure

- Manufacturing, construction, or mechanical experience
- Experience operating tools or machinery
Responsibilities
- Operate and assist with steel processing equipment
- Load and unload materials and position steel coils
- Package, weigh, and stage finished products
- Monitor product quality and identify defects
- Support machine operators with setup and daily production tasks
