Steel Press Setup Operator - 3rd Shift
About The Position
Bosch Home Solutions is seeking a Steel Press Setup Operator to perform die changeovers and setups and operate single-stroke mechanical presses of 70 tons and up. The operator blanks, punches, and forms parts to specifications while following operational method sheets, job instructions, quality requirements, safety protocols, and company procedures. The role also involves material handling, production documentation, troubleshooting setup issues, and maintaining an orderly work area. The position is subject to successful completion of a drug screen and background check before the start date. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely; future work-authorization sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read Operational Method Sheets and quality specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience using press machines, other machining, and manufacturing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Read, communicate, and understand Operational Method Sheets (OMS) and job instructions.
- Handle materials to and from workstations and prepare equipment for production.
- Operate presses to punch and form parts according to specifications.
- Perform die changeovers and select appropriate materials.
- Troubleshoot setup-related issues or seek technical support as needed.
- Adjust and tighten hold-down bolts, dies, springs, and pins, and lubricate materials and parts.
- Complete required production paperwork.
- Report work shortages and perform rework as needed.
- Maintain quality standards, including first- and last-part inspections and inspection of parts against OMS and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
