About The Position

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Steel Erectors for an on-going commercial construction project in the De Pere, WI area. We are seeking dependable Steel Erector professionals with experience erecting pre-engineered metal buildings and structural steel systems. The ideal Steel Erector candidate is comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and as part of a fast-paced construction team.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience erecting metal buildings, structural steel, or related commercial construction
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
Comfortable working at heights and in varying outdoor weather conditions
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite

Responsibilities

Assemble and erect pre-engineered metal building systems, including structural steel framing, wall panels, and roof systems
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications
Measure, align, and install structural components accurately
Bolt, weld, or fasten steel components as required
Install insulation, siding, trim, and other building materials
Safely operate aerial lifts, forklifts, hoists, and other construction equipment
Maintain a clean, safe work area while following OSHA and jobsite safety standards
Work with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule
