About The Position

Executes daily operational rounds and SCADA/BMS monitoring across all power house equipment, taking system readings (pressure, temperature, levels) and making adjustments to optimize performance and respond to alarms. Installs, maintains, and repairs heavy power plant machinery, including precise motor and pump alignments to minimize wear and prevent mechanical failure. Performs daily chemical testing and dosage adjustments on boilers, water softeners, and condensate return systems to prevent corrosion and scale buildup. Manages annual boiler teardowns for inspection, adjusting and calibrating fuel-to-air ratios to ensure maximum combustion efficiency and environmental compliance. Tracks real-time facility electrical usage and implemented load-management changes to maintain grid stability and lower operating costs.

Requirements

  • Licensed Maintenance Professional specializing in Engineer obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Class 1 Steam Engineer license.
  • 1 year boiler chiller operator experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years in high power area preferred.
