About The Position
We are seeking passionate and energetic STEAM and ARTS After School Part Time Instructors to lead engaging classes for K-5th grade students. This role involves facilitating hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, starting October 1st. The position is based at our site in Norcross, Georgia.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a K-5th grade setting.
- Knowledge and passion for STEAM and ARTS subjects.
- Ability to manage a classroom and engage young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available Monday - Friday from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
- Must be able to start on October 1st.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as an after-school instructor.
- Background in education or a related field.
- Experience with curriculum development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct students in STEAM and ARTS programs for grades K-5.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Facilitate hands-on activities and projects.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding student progress and any issues.
