About The Position

Join our production team in a hands-on leadership role that directly impacts quality, production, and team performance. As a Stave Prep Line Lead, you'll lead a team responsible for preparing staves for the jointer operation, ensuring materials meet quality standards while keeping production moving efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills, drive continuous improvement, and help build a strong safety and quality culture in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Accountability is a key trait to be successful in this role.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Accountable, self-motivated, and able to lead by example

Nice To Haves

Previous leadership or lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Experience supporting quality, safety, or continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead and support a team responsible for preparing staves for the jointer operation while ensuring daily production goals are achieved.
Inspect staves for defects, sap, and quality concerns to ensure materials meet production standards.
Monitor production output, maintain production records, and communicate performance results to leadership.
Train and develop team members while promoting a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
Partner with other line leads and departments to support efficient operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
