About The Position

The Stave Mill Line Lead at Robinson Stave provides daily leadership and support to production employees on the second shift. The role helps ensure operational goals are achieved in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and production performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who values teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee development.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or fast-paced industrial environment.
Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to operate industrial equipment as required.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, squat, and work in an industrial manufacturing environment for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Experience in logging, sawmill, lumber, wood products, or similar manufacturing environments.
Experience with inventory control, production tracking, or related operational processes.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as TPM, PDCA, Lean, or similar programs.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day production activities for the assigned shift, ensuring safety, quality, and output goals are achieved.
Provide coaching, direction, and support to production team members across the stave mill operation.
Monitor production flow, staffing, and work assignments while ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
Support regulatory, environmental, and workplace safety requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
