Axle is seeking a Statistician to join our vibrant team at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) supporting the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), located in Bethesda, MD.

Requirements

Master's degree in Biostatistics or Statistics from an accredited college/university strongly preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of related experience required

Responsibilities

Perform statistical analyses on data related to research, experimentation, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and cure of human disease.
Consult with investigators on the design and analysis of clinical and observational studies using knowledge of statistical methods.
Identify appropriate methods for processing and analyzing data that varies from project to project.
Identify programming requirements and assist investigators and/or IT in the development of specialized programs for statistical analysis.
Perform database management support by merging data from single or multiple sources to produce analysis datasets for assigned projects.
Provide programming support including writing code, graphics and table production, and other related tasks.
Interact with clinical and laboratory investigators in processing data and conducting statistical analyses.
Develop statistical analysis plans.
Assure system and program documentation for assigned projects is complete and accurate.
Perform analysis of immunologic data, including assay and immunogenicity studies, and allergy data.
Perform other related duties as assigned by a responsible authority.
Deliver Monthly status reports including hours worked, activities completed, problems encountered, and recommendations.
Deliver Quarterly reports including overtime, travel, and other expenses — due within 15 days of end of each quarter.
Deliver Status reports as requested by the Task Leader.
