About The Position

MIRACORP is seeking a Statistician to analyze survey data and prepare statistical reporting in collaboration with survey methodology personnel and project stakeholders. The position supports the Department of State, Directorate of Passport Services, in Washington, DC.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Must possess a SECRET personnel security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• Knowledge of statistical methods.
• Experience with survey data analysis.
• Knowledge of sampling concepts.
• Ability to prepare reports and visual summaries.
• Technical communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with the U.S. Department of State.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data collected through surveys.
• Compile reports, charts, and tables using established statistical methods.
• Collaborate with the survey methodologist to support sound statistical sampling.
• Use appropriate sampling approaches to support quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Participate in technical briefings for survey stakeholders.
• Explain statistical results clearly in written materials and stakeholder discussions.
