About The Position

Responsible for creating all necessary documentation to support aggregate financial and state-specific Workers’ Compensation (WC) data call reporting for all of Arch’s business divisions. This role involves assisting in the resolution of Medical Data Call (MDC) and Indemnity Data Call (IDC) inquiries, as well as Unit Statistical Reports (USR) bureau criticisms. The analyst will work with staff to remedy systemic data anomalies and assist in fulfilling WC surcharge and assessment payment obligations. Additionally, the role includes creating or enhancing process documentation for individual reports to ensure smooth transitions to new workflows and partnering with departments like Claims Data Quality and IT to address data issues impacting regulatory reporting. The analyst will also serve as a key contact for handling Allianz legacy functions.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of the Workers Compensation line of business.
Firm understanding of the various bureaus’ USR and financial data call requirements.
Intermediate to advanced competency skills with MS Office, including SQL, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A minimum of five years of experience in a Statistical Reporting unit, reporting on Workers Compensation experience via USR, Data Calls, MDC and IDC.
Demonstrated knowledge of WC statistical plans and the various Data Quality Programs.

Responsibilities

Creating all necessary documentation to support aggregate financial and state-specific Workers’ Compensation (WC) data call reporting for all of Arch’s business divisions.
Assisting in the resolution of Medical Data Call (MDC) and Indemnity Data Call (IDC) inquiries received from the various data collection organizations.
Assisting in the resolution of Unit Statistical Reports (USR) bureau criticisms or other external inquiries and working with staff to remedy any systemic data anomalies.
Assisting in the fulfillment of WC surcharge and assessment payment obligations.
Creating or enhancing process documentation at an individual report level to ensure a seamless transition to new workflows upon account renewal on to Arch policies.
Partnering with neighboring departments such as Claims Data Quality and IT to address data issues that impact our ability to report data to regulators in a timely and accurate manner.
Filling role as key-contact for any obligations mirrored to handle Allianz legacy functions.
