About The Position
The biostatistician position is expected to design, analyze, and compile data in conjunction with the faculty member/principal investigator for research studies and approved quality projects using scientific methods.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree and one-year professional experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of quantified data.
- A master's degree in statistics may be substituted for the required work experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist department faculty with statistical analysis of data for research projects designed to generate national meeting presentations and publications from research studies
- Assist the department with necessary preview of ideas and proposals for appropriate utilization of statistical services
- Participate in study design development as needed
- Report generation for clinical trials
