The Stationary Operations Engineer-2nd Shift Lead is responsible for providing management and direct oversight of facility operations, maintenance activities, and personnel during an assigned shift. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of building systems, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance, supervises and manages technicians, and maintains compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements. The Shift Lead acts as the primary operational leader for the shift, accountable for workforce performance, situational awareness, and facility reliability. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 12+ years of facilities maintenance experience. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and eligible for a government security investigation to obtain and maintain HSPD & Secret clearance. Experience in operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting central utility plant and institutional mechanical systems in mission-critical environments is essential. Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to interpret technical documentation.
