This position is located at the Cal Poly Solano Campus in Vallejo, California. Under the lead direction of the Chief Engineer and the general supervision of the Senior Director of Facilities Management or Operations Manager, the Stationary Engineer performs a variety of skilled work in the operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of boilers, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, power, water, water treatment, fire alarms, and other mechanical and building components and systems. This position supports safe, reliable and efficient operation of the Solano campus facilities and infrastructure. This position is located in Vallejo, California at the Cal Poly Maritime Academy. Department Summary Facilities Management and Development (FMD), a unit within the Administration and Finance Division (AFD), is responsible for the planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance, and repair of university facilities, grounds, and infrastructure. FMD consists of four critical and interdependent support departments, including Customer & Business Services; Energy, Utilities, & Sustainability; Facilities Planning & Capital Projects; and Facilities Operations.
