About The Position

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a Stationary Engineer to join its operations team in Upper Gwynedd, Pennsylvania. Typical work schedules vary based on business demand. The role performs maintenance and repair of machinery, systems, and equipment; operates the Building Automation System; performs preventive maintenance; and responds to alarms at the UG and NW sites. The position occasionally requires coverage of other shifts, holidays, and overtime, and may require work on weekends during emergencies.

Requirements

• Five years of hands-on experience in overall operations and maintenance of a large office facility.
• A history of safe work practices and safety training.
• Strong background and knowledge in building mechanical and electrical systems.
• Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, customers, contractors, and coworkers.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently without supervision.
• Willingness to learn new skills and assist coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery, systems, and equipment.
• Operate the Building Automation System.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Respond to alarms at the UG and NW sites.
• Requisition and maintain a supply of spare parts.
• Control and issue tools and equipment.
• Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations.
• Cover other shifts, holidays, and overtime as occasionally required.
• Report for required overtime, holidays, and weekends in an emergency.
