The position is active, approved, and intended to be filled as part of our staffing needs. This posting is for an existing and currently open position. Job Summary Provides expert mechanical support to design, maintain, upgrade, and ensure continuous operation of facilities equipment and systems.

Requirements

  • Community college certificate/diploma (or equivalent) - Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Instrumentation Technician, TSSA Certified Operating Engineer or other facilities related specialties (college level).
  • 3 years minimum of experience as a Stationary Engineer or a Building Operator.
  • Understanding of Building Management/Automation Systems.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, M-ERP/ SAP).
  • Experience with facilities equipment and systems including HVACs, boilers/chillers/softeners and associated water treatment, BMS, environmental filtration equipment, storage tanks, etc.
  • Solid training and experience, including OEM training on various equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform analysis using Excel, maintenance management systems M-ERP/SAP.
  • Self-managed team player, adept at working with teams in a production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure day to day activities; at a minimum align to Bora's Standards and/or Regulatory requirements accordingly in both safety and quality aspects.
  • Work as part of a team to support the operation, design, installation, qualification, validation, troubleshooting and optimization of facilities equipment and systems.
  • Operate, repair, and maintain the following systems: HVACs, boilers/chillers/softeners and associated water treatment, BMS, environmental filtration equipment, storage tanks, etc.
  • Complete all plant logs (GMP and non-GMP) and documents all maintenance work orders.
  • Maintain audit ready department ensuring documentation and data integrity.
  • Ensures compliance through timely and accurate completion of preventive maintenance work-orders and are accountable to sign off on maintenance documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Identify efficiency gaps and provide solutions to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors while performing work on-site.
  • Develop maintenance routines following the manufacturer’s recommendations and coordinates routine preventative maintenance requirements with stakeholders, ensuring all preventative maintenance routines are entered into the CMMS and scheduling requirements are agreed.
  • Prepare or revise SOPs, participating in the change control process, following changes, reviews drawings/documents as necessary.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
  • Shares best practices with other team members.
  • Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be well- organized and can prioritize tasks.
